Photography FAQS

  • Does it matter what color I wear in the photos?

Yes! We have and all white studio and wearing all white will cause you to blend into the background! We would like your photos to look great and wearing colors that contrast with white will help with this. Some white on the clothes is fine but wearing all white t-shirts or dresses will not come out well.

  • Are all of the photos posed and old fashioned?

No. We prefer to adopt a more relaxed photo style, however we do ask the models to adopt a certain stance every now and then, or we engineer people into the positions we are hoping to captor and this way all the people in the photos still look comfortable, natural and happy.

  • Can I bring my own props?

Yes please. It is always nice to have your own things in your photos and often young children feel more comfortable with there own toys or blankets. We do have a wide selection of teddies and props for you to use while you are with us so if you can't think of anything to bring then don't worry!

  • How long does the session last?

We allocate an hour for each studio session but you will usually be finished in about 45 mins. If you have small children with you we work to the attention span of the child and until we get enough images to put a good selection together, however the longest we would keep you would be 1 hour.

At the end of your studio session we make an appointment for you to come back in a week or so to view your pictures. You will view them electronically and select the images you would like us to print.
